A little more frugalicious sewing!

I recently found some Weiner Dog fabric and had to pick it up!  My best friend in the whole world comes from a family of Weiner Dog lovers!  So…..I had to pick up the fabric to make something for her daughter; my Goddaughter!

I made a reversible dress for her.  I must say that the pattern was so simple, it took longer to cut out the fabric than to sew the dress!  The looped ribbon at the bottom idea came from a dear friend of mine who had made several custom outfits for our own girls!  You might need to check her out, by the way!  RagstoRibbons  is her website.  She is amazing at what she does!

I used scrap ribbons from my stash.  So, I would say that this outfit (2 dresses in one) cost me about $12 in materials to make!

May your day be ‘just frugalicous’!

Is there a pattern you used to make this reversible? I'd love to make matching dresses with your pattern for my little girls.
