GROUPON: $6 for Stomping Grounds Playland Admission AND a kids meal (save $13.25)!

This is a pretty sweet little Groupon today!

From HOUSTON Groupon:  ‘with today’s deal: for $6, you get one admission (up to a $7.75 value) and a kid’s meal (up to a $5.50 value) at Stomping Grounds Playland in Sugarland (a combined value of up to $13.25). Adults and tots under 12 months old always enter for free.’

Stomping Grounds Playland is in Sugarland.  I have never been, but from what I saw on their website, it looks super cool!  They have a small Cafe on location.  Now, that is what I like!  One stop service!

May your day be ‘just frugalicous’!

Frugalicious Birthday Gift

We had a friend’s birthday party to attend last weekend, and I didn’t have anything in my birthday gift stash that I thought she would like.  But, I did know that she liked PINK!  So, I whipped out a little dress for her.  It is made of pink floral cotton fabric.  I used grosgrain ribbon to feed through the top of the front and back to make the straps.  It is reversible (I used the same fabric).  On one side I put a little flower made of pompom trim and a fabric center.  I think she liked it…..or liked modeling it….one of the two!

I made the dress in about two hours.  And, I just used what I had in my fabric/thread/ribbon stash, so it didn’t cost me anything!

May your day be ‘just frugalicious’!
