Last Kroger Mega Deal Transaction?

Do you have lingering coupons that you want to use before the sale ends tonight for us Texas couponers?

Well, Kraft just released new $1/1 Kraft Natural Cheese coupons.  In addition to the Kraft Cheese coupon, there are two others:  Oscar Mayer $1/1 Beef Franks and $1.50/1 Kraft Dressing.  These are all at the same handy spot at Cooking with Kraft.

Also, there is a $1.50/1 Kraft Dressing coupon right there!  Print the max of that.  These are priced at $1.29 ea after the $5 off.  So, a possible tiny MM – or at the least FREE item to add to your transaction!

So, print the max per computer (2) combine them with enough coupons to make 10 in a transaction and head to your local Kroger.  You can use the Natural Cheese coupons to get bags of shredded cheese for $.49 each!

Krazy Coupon Lady

I happened upon the Krazy Coupon Lady blog today.  It is super cute and she has a TON of info on it!  I just printed out her Krazy Coupon Binder.  It is so cute with all the girly graphics.  She has done a great job sharing all of this – so be sure to visit her blog and thank her for all her efforts!

On her blog – I also found an alphabetized list of printables.  For those of you who aren’t fully addicted to HCW yet, you might find Krazy IP Coupon Database helpful!

Also, the best part of this site is her “pick another checkout lane, honey!” blurb at the top of her homepage!  Love it!

CVS – I love Rainchecks! I love Bartering!

Ok, so Anne and I – you hear about her often – we do lots of bartering, she buys from my stockpile, and we are good friends – which makes it even better!

So, a while back we bartered – she got stuff from my stockpile and paid me with coupons (I scored a few “FREE” item coupons) AND $14 in ECBs.

So, I have been contemplating what to buy with the $14 ECBs.  I realized that they were going to expire today.  OOPS!

I stopped in and had to make it quick!

I had a raincheck for 3 – Aveeno Positively Ageless products (earn $10 ECBs when you spend $20 or more).  I had two coupons:  $5/2 Aveeno Positively Ageless Products AND $2/1 Positively Ageless sun, body, face product.

2 – Aveeno Positively Ageless Body Lotion ($7 ea = $14 MINUS $5 printable = $9)
1 – Aveeno Positively Ageless Daily Cleansing Pads ($6.99 MINUS $2 printable = $4.99)
TOTAL:  $13.99

I was so excited!  I love the Aveeno Products!  And, I guess you can say those products cost me $4 total….since I lost $4 ECBs in the transaction.

Gerber Onesie at Walgreens

GO HERE, Sign Up, then print coupons! There is a $2.50/2 Gerber Onesie. Right now Walgreens has them on sale for $1.59 each. So, you could get two onesies for $.68!

I think that is a pretty great deal!

I did have troubles printing the coupons tonight – the message said the site was being updated. So, I will be sure to try tomorrow!

May your day be ‘just frugalicious’!

Thanks to HCW for the lead!!

Printable Coupons

There are several new coupons out there to print!  Be sure to take advantage of them now – sometimes they go pretty fast!

GO HERE to print these coupons:

$.50/3 Kleenex Tissues
$1/2 Klondike Bar
$1.10/1 Romano’s Macaroni Grill Dinner Kits
$1/2 Bic Stationary Products
$1/1 Fiber One Yogurt
$1/2 Breyers Products

There are other coupons there – so be sure to look to see if you need any other than what I have listed!

This is a decent Kleenex Coupon.  They are on the MEGA SALE NOW for $.99 each.  Here is a scenario for you:  I have heard of a possible $1 OYNO catalina for each 4 boxes of Kleenex you purchase.  Multiples print in a single transaction!

Buy 9 @ $.99 each = $8.91
MINUS 3 – $.50/3 printables = $5.91
MINUS $2 Catalina = $3.91 for 9 boxes of Kleenex

Now, I must say I haven’t confirmed that catalina yet…..but, if someone tries it – be sure to post a reply to confirm / deny the Catalina!

Some yummies for your tummies!  Klondike Bars & Macaroni Grill Dinner Kits!  At one time there was a loadable for the Macaroni Grill Dinner Kits.  Pairing the loadable with the coupon you print would make a good deal.  I plan on waiting until it is on sale, I have my printable, and a loadable from either cellfire or shortcuts!

There are all kinds of school supply sales now.  Lots of “free after RRs, ECBs, or Rebates….” depending on where you shop.  But, the BIC coupons listed above is a great one to have this time of year!  You will definitely want to print it!!

The Breyer’s printable works on the yogurt cups at Target.  They often go to $.50 each.  You can get two yogurt cups, use the $1/2 coupon, and pay nothing!  What is better than that!!

While you are printing coupons…..head over to SMARTSOURCE.  They have a bunch of the same coupons – if you find yourself with only one computer – you can easily get 4 coupons by printing two from each spot!

A couple that caught my eye were:

$1/2 Zebra Pen Products
$2.25 off ANY Ecotrin Aspirin Product (this often ends up being a MM at Walgreens after RRs)  So, print and if you don’t need it immediately, hold off for a great deal!

May your day be ‘just frugalicious’!

Ziploc Printable Coupons

I received an email from Right@Home today – it had an offer for $1.50/2 on any 2 Ziploc products.  The ones I printed expire 8/20.  GO HERE and sign up – then you can print your coupons!

May your day be ‘just frugalicious’!

Some Deals For YOU!

I am hearing of several new couponers visiting my blog, so I thought it might be helpful to go thru this week’s SmartSource and tell you what I thought were good coupons!

But, first, MY DEAL OF THE DAY!

Walgreens – SCOTCH brand transparent tape on sale for $.39 each. In the 7/12 RP insert there is a coupon for $1/3. When you buy 3 tapes and use this coupon you pay $.17!! I must admit that I used all 12 of my coupons and got 36 rolls of tape. There were a ton there – I didn’t come close to clearing off the shelf – and there are NO LIMITS on this sale!

This week’s SmartSource has some fairly good coupons. If you are new to couponing – this might help you spot the “good” coupons.

Chex Mix $.50/1 BBQ or Sour Cream & Onion
This is – I am certain – a way for them to have you try a new flavor. If you think you will like that flavor – be sure to hold onto the coupon. Most stores double coupons up to $.50 – so that is $1/1 chex mix. When Kroger runs them on sale you can get them really cheap – sometimes free if you have a loadable on your card ( or

Revlon $1/1 PLUS Target Revlon $1/1 = $2/1 Revlon Color Product! Keep an eye out – and keep those coupons together – as they might run a great promotion soon!

$3/2 Pull-Ups Flushable Moist Wipes – There are reports that Walmart has 42 ct. packs for $1.64. Using this coupon your Wipes would be $.14 each!! That is a great coupon to have!!

$1/1 White Cloud – Here are the prices I have found while searching online…..I need to confirm at my local Walmart! Reg. White Cloud 4 pk $2, Reg. White Cloud 12 pk (db rolls) $5.44, Green Earth White Cloud 4 pk (= to 10.5 rolls) $2.78. While I have to say we are set on TP for a while, I am gonna wait to see if there is a FREE deal out there before I spend any OOP on TP! But, if you are in need of it, this is a good coupon!

$1/1 Colgate Sensitive Toothpaste – This is a good one to hold onto! Keep a watch at CVS & Walgreens. A lot of times they will do ECBs or RRs back for purchasing specific toothpaste. Since this is specific to SENSITIVE – this might be a harder deal to find! If you ever see a “$1/1 ANY Colgate Toothpaste” you are almost guaranteed free toothpaste before the coupon expires!

From the Parade Magazine:
$.25/1 Charmin 4 Big Roll, Charmin Ultra Strong or Charmin Ultra Soft. Most grocery chains will triple this coupon making it $.75. So, if you are brand loyal on your TP, this is a good coupon to have on hand!

Ad Preview for this weekend! has posted the insert preview for this coming week. Head on over to her site and take a peek at the list!

May your day be ‘just frugalicious’

Kroger Mega Sale – $17.65 for all this!

I ran to Kroger this AM (with three kids in tow)!  I had my shopping transactions planned (9 of them – to make the best use of my coupons).  I really wanted to get it all done – so I could do it all at once.

I ended up doing 8 of the 9 transactions!

Here is what I got:

29- Kraft Natural Cheese
7 – Sunny D Smoothie (one is in the frig – girls dove into it already)
4 – Sobe Waters
5 – Chex Mix
6 – Soft Soaps
6 – Lady’s Speed Stick Deodorant
7 – Rolaids (3 packs)
5 – Purina Dog Food – Little Bites
6 – Hartz Crunch and Clean
7 – Temptation Cat Treats

Items not part of the sale:
1 – Frenchs Mustard
1 – Kroger Mayo
1 – Kroger Syrup
1 – Kroger Dozen of Eggs
2 – Banana Bunches

Grand Total from all 8 Transactions:  $17.65

My main goal was to stock up on cheese, because we didn’t have stockpile of it.  I really didn’t “NEED” any of the other stuff at the mega sale…..they were just fillers to get my good cheese prices.  This is how I will look at it……  If I divide the total $17.65 by 29 packages of cheese, it comes to $.61 per bag of cheese.  Everything else today was FREE!  YIPPEE!

Those that know me know that we don’t have any pets!  My plan is to sell the pet stuff at a very low cost to those that might need it.  Doing this will help re-coop my price of my cheese!  I figure if I sell the pet stuff for $1 per item I will make up my total spend for today.  We will see.

One thing….I realized tonight while shopping with a friend of mine – that I bought the wrong Sunny Ds.  Apparently they aren’t the smoothies.  Although all of mine say “smooth” on them.  I guess I don’t pay enough attention to SunnyDs (we have never had them) to know what is what.  My Kroger doesn’t have the Smoothies!  I guess my cashier pushed thru the SunnyDs – Karen’s refused her coupon.

Kroger Mega Sale starts 07/15/09

Well, the word is quickly spreading about another Kroger Mega Sale beginning this week.  This is where you have to buy 10 participating items and you receive $5 off your transaction, automatically at checkout.  I use to approach these sales by saying, I don’t have time or brainpower to get 10 qualifying items.  Now, I find myself preparing for the sale, clipping coupons and reading blogs.

I have found lots of info on AND ZM from KatyCouponers just did a fabulous post.  So, be sure to check those blogs out and get ready for the sale.  You can really get some great deals.

This time, my main thing is Kraft Cheese.  I am not stockpiled on it yet, and it is gonna be a great price.

So, prepare now – shop the sale – and save a lot!

$.50 Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner, FREE BIC Soleil, and Cheap School Supplies!

We headed out on several quick runs this AM!  On our way to get extra papers, we stopped at Dollar General to see what Electrasol Tabs were priced at there.  (at ours it is 15 ct. box for $3.00)  That is a bit high for me, but I felt guilty going in and not buying anything.  So, I used my coupon from today’s Sunday Paper Inserts ($2.50/1) and paid $.50 for the box.  I will continue to keep an eye out for Target to run them on sale and hope to get the for FREE by using the coupon.

Next, we stopped at the $.99 Store and got 10 papers.  There was a nice lady there with her coupon binder – she was informing the cashier of all the ways us crazy couponers that buy extra papers save tons of money.  I gave my blog address to both of them – hope they come by to visit!

Then we went to CVS.  I had $10 in ECBs to use.  I was hoping for several finds there…..I had a raincheck for the Always Infinity Pads — $4/1.  My raincheck was for $4.99.  Score, no problems in redeeming my raincheck and getting 2 boxes of those.  And, I had been hunting for the BIC Soleil Razors that were clearanced for $2.99.  I had coupons for $3/1 and was happy to find 10 razors at the CVS we stopped at!  YIPPEE!  We also purchased a bunch of different school supplies.  Here is what we got and how much we paid:

10 BIC Soleil Razors $2.99 9- $3/1 $2.90 $0
1 CVS 5 Subject Notebook $3.99 none $3.99 $3
3 Papermate Grip 8 pack Pens $.99 none $2.97 $2.97
2 CVS 1 subject notebooks $.99 none $1.98 $1.98
2 CVS 5” scissors $2.99 none $5.98 $5.98
2 CVS Plastic Rulers $.99 none $1.98 $1.98
2 Always Infinity Pads $4.99 $4/1 $1.98 $1.98
2 CVS Glue $.99 none $1.98 $1.98
1 CVS Coupon   $3/$15 purchase
TOTALS       $20.76
ECBs used       -$10.00
Total Paid w/ TAX       $11.54
ECBs earned         $17.89
TOTAL OOP (including cash + ECBs)         $3.65

Then we headed to Kroger.  We had a Raincheck for Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner.  I drug my feet on this one because I had so many coupons and only one raincheck.  The coupons were for $.50/1 – so that meant that I had to do three cleaners in one transaction.  Thus, splitting up the transactions.  I had enough coupons to do 17 transactions.  Ummmm….they didn’t have that many toilet bowl cleaners!  So, I went into the store and approached the nicest looking cashier.  I asked him if he would be willing to do separate transactions using my raincheck.  He said that he would!  I was so excited.  We got 18 bottles of toilet bowl cleaner.  Paid $.50 each for $9 total.  I still have a bunch of coupons and am hoping for another good sale before they expire on August 3rd!  If you come to my house and see a dirty toilet – would you slap me, PLEASE!!!!

Then we went to Walgreens for more school supplies.  I had $6 in RRs that were expiring today.  They have 2 pocket folders w/ tabs for $1/8 (using in-ad coupon).  We also took advantage of their $.99 Crayola markers – but when I got home I realized they weren’t washable!  I will be returning those!  We also got erasers.  Aubrey found a coupon for the little animal erasers (and we needed something to get us to $6) so we added 2 of those in!  We paid $.16 OOP + $6 in RRs!

All in all, I think we got a lot today for very little!  We are excited to almost be done with the school supply kit for Aubrey!

I hope that I have posted this quick enough for you to go grab some of these school deals if you need them!  CVS deals expire this Tuesday.  Remember – get rainchecks if they are out of items that you need!  CVS honors ECBs in their rainchecks!!

Aaron Brothers Penny Sale!

My favorite frame shop does it again!  The Penny Sale is going on now.  It is a great place to buy frames – they offer a lot of different options and have good quality products.

Also included in this sale are Artist Canvases. These make great summer craft projects for kids.  They can paint away – then you have art for your playroom walls, or anywhere else in your house!

Reorganizing Our Stockpile

Well, I took some time this weekend to organize our stockpile – so that I could better know how much of what we have in the house. I wanted to get like things together! I had cleaning supplies & soap in each bathroom and in the kitchen….. So, to know at a glance what I have, I wanted to rearrange my stockpile.

I want to remind you that I have only been shopping as an ‘extreme couponer’ since the first of the year.

Here is a list of items that I won’t need to purchase for at least 9 mths – because my current qty will get us through the next nine months:

Dental Floss
Dental Picks
Cough Drops
Toilet Paper
Kleenex Tissues
Tampons / Pads
Razors (men’s & women’s)
Shaving Cream (men’s & women’s)
Body Wash
Styling Products
Deodorant (both men’s & women’s)
Bar Soap
Liquid Hand Soap
Laundry Detergent
Fabric Softener
Febreeze, Renuizit
Lysol Spray
Lysol Pourable Cleaner
Lysol Toilet Bowl Cleaner Diapers Wipes

Dishwashing Soap
Dishwasher Detergent

Ziploc Freezer Bags
Ziploc Storage Bags
Reynolds Aluminum Foil Wrap

BBQ Sauce Grillmates, Seasonings, Marinades
Cooking Oil

Breakfast Foods (frozen waffles, cereals, poptarts, etc)
Salsa Kraft Shredded Cheese (mexican, italian, mild cheddar)
Ice Cream

Ground Beef
Pork Chops
Pork Tenderloin
Various Beef Cuts (steak, roast, etc.)

I am sure there are other things that I have missed, but I wanted to show you how quickly you can build a stockpile.

Having this stockpile significantly reduces my OOP each week. The key is to purchase enough at rock bottom prices to last you until it reaches rock bottom again!

July 1st – Coupons Reset!

I just visited to print some coupons.

It is a new month – so there are new coupons.  And, to boot, some that were out there last month have RESET – so, if you had printed the limit on Eggo Bake Shop, Betty Crocker Fruit Snacks, or Pictureka, you will be able to get two more per computer!

Many times good coupons will reset, so be sure to print them in a timely manner, because at some point thru the month, they might surprise us and reset – so that you can print more!
