$100 Gift Card Giveaway! Compliments of Cellfire!

coupons, coupon, free coupons, grocery coupons

Cellfire is offering a $100 Grocery Gift Card to one of my readers this month!

Cellfire has lots of great coupons available to load onto your frequent shopper cards!  There are a bunch of different cereal coupons to highlight this time around.  Three of them are:

Trix, Lucky Charms, Wheaties Fuel brand

We all know that, with kids, the mornings can be CRAZY!  Our house is not immune to this craziness.

This morning I looked over my shoulder as I was preparing breakfast drinks and saw a handful of Trix propelling (in grenade-like fashion) through the air from one side of the kitchen.  I followed their path all the way over to the other side of the kitchen and watched them hit the wall.  Then, I followed the path of the said Trix back to the launcher – my nearly 2 year old…..with a smirk on his face.  I hope his strong arm serves him well with a MLB contract someday…..but, until then, I guess I will continue to dodge his pitches!

Do you have a funny story about breakfast time in your house?  If so, that is your entry into the contest!  Just leave your funny story as the comment!

Want an extra chance at the prize?  Follow this link to cellfire and load your coupons.  Then, come back and tell us which one is your favorite!

Oh, and while you are there….be sure to remember to load your TRIX coupon!  Just be sure to dodge them if your child tends to throw his or her food!

As always, be sure to leave your contact information – as that is the only way we can be sure to reach you if you WIN!

Contest runs through June 30th.  Comments will be accepted until 11:59 PM on June 30th.  Winner will be announced on July 2nd and will have 48 hours to contact me with shipping address for the prize!

**Maximum 2 entries per person.**

May your day be ‘just frugalicious’!

I love watching my dog patrol the floor around the kitchen table waiting for a bite of cereal to hit the floor. She will even completely ignore her food in hopes of catching him drop some.

I wish I had funny moments but breakfast is very stressful at my house. Everyone wants different things and we are always in a rush. I would say a memorable tradition is that daddy cooks on the weekends. That can be pretty comical at times!

Bisquick is the coupon I liked the most. It is so versatile. You can use at breakfast (pancakes), for dessert (strawberry shortcake…yum) and biscuits for dinner.

Our funniest time at breakfast is when my youngest start telling stories at the table. He starts laughing and it gets really silly with food coming out with their laughter.

My 1 year old loves pickles for breakfast. As hard as I try to get her to eat something else, she won't eat anything until she's had her morning pickle.

My almost 5 year old loves Toaster Streudels and since they come in a blue box he calls them "blue toast". My mom was babysitting at our house one morning and Aiden kept asking for "blue toast", she had to call me to find out what "blue toast" was! She was so confused!

My favorite coupon from cellfire is the nature valley granola oat clusters, we LOVE those! They have been a great deal at Safeway with the buy 8 save $4 promo! So sad it's ending today! 🙁

I love how I get the kids their breakfast of choice-pancakes with chocolate chips on top, and I get my Rice Krispies with fruit, and immediately Celia wants my cereal. What is it about the food on the parent's plate that is SOO appealing?

My Favorite breakfast memories are sharing a cup of coffee with my now college age son, and having my Lab puppy lay at my feet staring at me until I throw the ball with him. My favorite Cellfire coupon is the one for Starbucks VIA! They're awesome!

My morning is usually spent trying to keep my 2 year old from eating the dog's food, and trying to keep the dog from eating my 2 year old's breakfast. Today, my daughter said she was done, but had left a portion of apple muffin on her plate. So Bailey, the dog, quickly came over and ate it before I even had a chance to see if Sophie, the daughter, had finished her food. Oh, well, I may have said too much….lol!

My favorite cellfire coupon is Save $.50 on Chex Mix Snacks. You can usually get these free or close to free with sales and stacking paper coupons. I like them for snacks for summer road trips.

This is funny. We have a red squirrel that hangs around our house that loves peanuts, vanilla wafers, and the clusters in Honey Nut Clusters cereal.
One day when we were sitting outside on our porch having breakfast, when we noticed a squirel hanging around. My dh decided it would be funny to give him a little bit of our cereal and the squirrel loved it.
After a while he even taught the little bugger to take the treat by hand.
It has been 2 years and "red" as we call him, still comes around for his snacks.
It is so funny to watch my dh feed him treats.

My funny story is about my 4 year-old "helping" to to make breakfast. Every Saturday morning we make pancakes with bananas and chocolate chips. My daughter is always very eager to help out by getting the chocolate chips out and tasting them first to make sure they are still good. 🙂

Thanks for the great giveaway!

She said "Mom, I did not want to wake you up and I was Hungry. I know how to use the Toaster, I am 4!" My big girl!~

I have a great funny store about breakfast time. When I was younger & my brother would make himself, and sometimes the rest of us breakfast he always made a mess. One day he was making pancakes and one got really stuck to the pan so he tried really hard with the spatula to get it off and then it came loose and he flung it on the ceiling! He was making chocolate chip pancakes, too, so the chocolate like glued it to the ceiling. It took forever to get off.

Yesterday, I just learned not to put too much water in my daughter's sippy cup at breakfast (or any time!). She threw her full cup down on the floor and it busted – water was EVERYWHERE! Of course, she thought it was hilarious, but I wasn't so sure 🙂

Mealtime is always a battle at our house. My toddler hit the age that she has definitely likes and dislikes, which change by the minute. One day, I told her she couldn't get down from her high chair until she finished the eggs on her plate. I went into the kitchen to grab something, and when I came back, everything was gone (including her plate). I looked on the floor, ceiling, her lap, etc…only to find out she had neatly stashed it behind her. She was sitting very nonchalantly, so I didn't suspect it! At the time, I didn't find it very amusing, but it's a little funnier now that it is hindsight. 🙂

loaded all the coupons to my card – hoping to get a great deal on a few items after your recent posts with Wheaties fuel, yogurts, and nature valley – my bigger boys have a campout soon and the NV bars are an all time favorite on such outings!

My 2 year old tends to let you know she is finished with any meal by dumping her plate contents either on the table in front of her (and then proceeding to "finger paint" with whatever it is) or on the floor. Ugh! Not so funny, but a definite trend.

Here's another not funny but neat thing to share. A friend of mine growing up had a cereal tradition in their household. Instead of spending money on a greeting card, her family members always received a box of their favorite cereal for their birthday. And, the entire family would sign birthday greetings onto the box. A fun cereal idea!
